 Times Tables

Fold and then cut pieces of blank paper into squares. On each square write a times tables without the answer e.g. 4×6= or 10×4=   Try to include at least 30 cards in your pile (creating all times table eventually would be great!)

Once you have created your cards, place them upside down in a pile and then turn one card over at a time and call out the answer.

If you can answer them correctly without hesitation (straight away!) place them next to the pile face up. If you cannot answer it straight away, then place it back into the pile.

Try this a couple of times to see if you improve in accuracy and time!

This week you are to decide your chosen Saint. Write your Saint’s name in your homework book and include a short descriptive paragraph to explain why you have chosen that Saint. Remember to describe the Gifts your Saint has demonstrated throughout their life.

Also speak with your parents and choose your sponsor: someone who you think is filled with the Holy Spirit. Remember this person must be over 16 and baptised in the Catholic Faith. Record the full name of your sponsor in your homework book.
